Home with Lucas!

Sweet boy our first few days home with you were full of adventure. That seems to be how this new baby thing works in this little house. You certainly have a brother and sister who love you SO MUCH. 

You love your sister soooo much that you decided to be just like her. Tongue tied, jaundice numbers that were exactly the same and landed you in the dreaded bili bed on your second day home. You had a great little fan base cheering you on and encouraging you when you were sad because we couldn't hold you. Daddy was pretty awesome in the middle of the night when you decided that you had had quite enough of that blue light thank you very much! Thankfully just like sister you were only on it for about 24 hours before your numbers started going down. You appear to be a bit less dramatic and continued to drop and were rewarded with far less heel pricks!

It was quite the adventure our first few times out and about with all three of you. The backseat of our little SUV is busting at the seams, and we kind of like it. Aiden is an awesome big brother and always ready to tell you it is okay, or give you back your paci.

I think this is my favorite picture of you from your first few days home. You are probably about 5 days old, honestly it doesn't even "look like you" but it is about the cutest thing I have ever seen. Once you chubbed up and lost some of the old man wrinkles we didn't see this face very often. Little dude, we sure love you!
