We've been attempting to slow down and snuggle up with our little family for some quality time together. October has been crazy and we have several trips coming up so we need a little down time around here.
Enter naps.
Napping is awesome y'all. It's also something that BOTH my littles are bad at. Aiden has always napped very well and not slept well at night. Emma Grace slept at night like we didn't know possible from the day we brought her home. It was a welcomed relief. Napping is something she has never been good at. Unless she's held or in the car you don't get more than about 20 minutes in her crib.
Aiden is dropping his nap. I'm crying.
He is so high energy that we both need that nap to survive the day. It's fifty fifty at this point. I step out of his room and wait with baited breath to see what happens. Sometimes he plays quietly and sometimes he wails at the top of his lungs.
A few days ago he didn't nap so he was curled up on Daddy while Daddy dozed and playing on his phone. I helped him exit an ad and moments later found him asleep with the phone on his head. Sweet thing that's what naps are for!!!!
Love them!
