Our day: for real folks.

Sometimes you just have those moments that are almost sureal. The ones that make the other parents laugh and nod because its real life folks. It's messy, it's exhausting, and oh so terribly funny.

We just had one of those moments.

As we finished up dinner Aiden scampered away to play. He found my keys and hit the alarm by accident. It is LOUD. It scared him so badly that he did that horrible heart breaking silent scream and sob. It took Mommy and Daddy to calm him down.

Meanwhile Emma Grace managed to reach her go go gadget arms and retrieve her entire plate of leftover dinner. She was ecstatically smearing refried beans all over the place.

In the time it took to snap a few pictures and have a little laugh at our silly girl there was a loud wrap on the door.

It was the cops.

Aiden didn't just set off the alarm. He summoned the police. Oops.
