March 2014

Oh March. You were lovely. Full of fun, family, a few hard days, but so much joy!

We amped up our school time in an effort to get rid of the winter blues and sensory meltdowns.

We kicked the germs and headed back to story time, though we were the only people there ;)

We pretended it was Spring, though the weather didn't cooperate.

Ahhhh no story, this pic just melts my heart.

Happy St. Patricks Day, 9 years ago this guy asked me to be his "girlfriend!" Yes, yes and yes!

We headed to Home Sweet Alabama. The kids LOVE the open play space and all the family to love on. It was such a good trip and just what our hearts needed at the end of a long hard winter.

Tractor rides and my dads classic truck are always a favorite!

My Aunt and Uncle were in town from FL and we didn't know until we got there. It was AWESOME!

Hahaha

What trip to the mall is complete without your Uncle stealing Grandma's wheelchair so he can race his sister down the mall? I mean every family does this, right?

Aiden LOVED our trip to Build a Bear, Emma Grace was a bit confused but loves her sweet lamb :)

Some of Shem's family was in town from Michigan. It was great for the kids and I to meet them, and we couldn't believe we scored extra family on both sides.

Naps on Nana, life is good.

We had a small mishap and got to enjoy Emma Grace's first ER trip thanks to a crochet hook finding its way into her little hand. A quick numb and cut and she was released with nothing more than a Dora bandaid!

We kind of stole a nephew when we left.

It was a pretty good decision! Sadly he was collected at the end of the week and returned home.

Emma Grace was sick, again. This time we landed at the specialist where extensive blood work is being done to see just what is up with her less than stellar immune system and propensity for outrageously high fevers. This go round we hit 104.5 and well this Mommy isn't keen on that number.

Brother makes boo boos all better, with Lego's!

When Nana and Pawpaw came to collect Alex they brought BIG beds for the kids. We opted not to stack the bunk beds just yet (haha) but they are loving their new room and Emma Grace is doing surprisingly well adjusting to sleeping in a big girl bed. Now a crib happily resides in Mommy and Daddy's room waiting on little Lucas to make his arrival in roughly 7 weeks!
