We have found some truth in that.
God has placed us here for a reason. He has given us a heart for this city in which we live. We've looked at leaving, we even did, albeit briefly. Yet we can't, for it is here we seem to be called to stay.
The last few months we have stepped into leadership within our church community group. God has stretched us in many ways and has given us an intense passion for our neighborhood and the community around us. It's been something that's slowly grown strong in our hearts over the last few years.
As I drive the tree lined streets I can't help but smile. For in being content where God places you there is such joy.
It's home.
