I didn't think Aiden was going to have a lovey. He waited a year, just to make sure he had the right one of course. Suddenly a little blue puppy became the object of his sleepy time desires. The rest is history. While we don't carry puppy around the house with us all the time, we do sleep with puppy every night. So in the event that we travel out of town, puppy comes along for the the ride. Insert potential problem. I have been warned by numerous people that if you find your child attached to a "lovey" buy an extra, NOW, before it is too late! I can only imagine the inconsolable child at bedtime without their precious lovey is a sad sight indeed. So today we found ourselves at Babies R Us with a coupon...
Puppy now has a twin. A very clean, soft, beautiful friend. I didn't even know puppy was dirty, but HE IS! Now if we ever loose our precious puppy we have a backup puppy. Oh, and don't worry, operation love on second puppy commences tonight. We will alternate our puppies so they both get lots of lovin just in case we truly need a loved on puppy later!
Aiden finds having two puppies quite delightful! He was ecstatic in the store to love on his new puppy. When we got home and he found there to be TWO, it was even better!!
But Mommy must admit, the best is yet to be...
For with clean puppy safe in bed...
