I LOVE to write. There are several people who have instilled that love deep within my soul. My Mom who tirelessly graded papers and sent me back to the "drawing board" for just one more try. My Dad who has a secret desire to write a book. My favorite professors from college, Dr. Greene, who never ceased to make writing a joy finishes out the list of inspiring teachers.
Dr. Greene passed away at the college yesterday, and while many are saddened we know that he has gone to be with His Savior. In a college with small intimate classes you don't just have teachers, you have friends. That aspect of the school is what drew me to Southeastern Bible College the summer of 2002. Dr. Greene was one of the greats, he made learning come alive, even if you did not like English! He will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on in the heart of his students, and his friends and family.
Please join me in praying for the Greene family, his wife Joan and children Julie, Sarah, Keith and Gabe as they mourn the loss of this great man.
