Time Out

One of the things I have noticed is that Aiden often needs a "time out." Before you roll your eyes in my direction let me clarify. All two year olds need behavioral time outs for the defiance that comes from their budding independence.

Aiden needs a time out from the chaos of daily life. A time to catch his breath and regroup if you will. We were going to look into a pop up tent that he could sneak away in when he needed a calm quiet place. I just couldn't figure out where to put it in this tiny house.

Aiden came up with his own special place. He figured out how to climb into his crib. Yes this comes with its own complications, but the last few days have found him spending extended periods of time snuggled up in his bed playing all by himself. When he is done playing he comes out a happier, calmer little man. Score!

Plus it is just about the cutest thing!
