Naptime Nightmares

For real. Those scenes in the movies with parents driving aimlessly praying the kiddos in the back will sleep. It's for real.

Been there done that.

The time came to loose our paci when we sleep. Apparently that means we don't sleep. He doesn't really ask for it, he simply doesn't sleep. He doesn't do well with transition, with change from his normal routine. I knew it would be rough but wasn't expecting it to play out as it has.

He's on day two with no nap and late nights. He is a walking zombie and is no longer computing that he is being talked too. He needs a large amount of sleep to reset his little system and flounders when he doesn't get it.

It's hard. It's real. This too shall pass.
