He has always been a bit independent, probably because we encourage it. He will often happily play alone in his room for 10 or 15 minutes at a time. We have a monitor in the hallway that is loud enough to be heard throughout the house should he not be in our line of sight at any given moment. This allows him his "freedom."
More often than not he can be found surrounded by books happily looking through them. I LOVE that he has a love of books and will encourage it in any way that I can. He has started bringing them to me so that we can read which I think is the sweetest thing ever. Now that being said he only makes it through a couple of pages before he is down and on to the next thing. We will continue to read every day, whether it be one page or ten!
We are in the process of rearranging things in our house to make the space more coherent with how we are using it these days. Dadda's commentaries have been packed up to find a new home. They did however make a brief (fine it was a couple of days) stop in the hallway during their transition.
It was during their stay that Aiden discovered them and happily thumbed through them. Read on little man, we hope you love learning about Jesus!!!
