48 hours and back...

We went home for the weekend. That is if you can count a 48 hour road trip with a toddler going home. It was fast, it was furious, but it was so fun! My brother and his sweet wife had a baby shower on Saturday night so we loaded up Saturday morning and made it home in time for the big event. It was fantastic to see old friends we don't normally get to hang out with during our rushed trips home to see family. It made us both miss home just a little bit more.

We managed to squeeze in some time with both of our families. Aiden was great fun and entertained us all with his budding personality and hilarious antics. Bless his little teething heart he had his rough moments but we had fun anyway!

We are still unloading and putting our house back together again. It is amazing how one car full of stuff can explode in the house which was clean when you left. Aiden was the proud recipient of a new stash of summer clothes from Nana B and Pappy's Gymboree adventures. Here he is sporting a great new look...



Early morning PJ's plus his new swim shirt and his shoes he insisted upon putting on. Funny as he normally takes his shoes off. Never say my kid isn't styling!
