He fell and whacked the coffee table with the edge of his ear and head.
It was not fun folks.
Talk about breaking a Momma's heart this tough cookie sobbed until he was literally shaking. I had my sweet boys blood and tears on my shirt and no Momma wants that! Luckily he didn't need stitches or medical attention, unless you count a very cautious Momma watching him like a hawk for the next few hours for the teensiest sign of something wrong. By bedtime he had stoppeded bleeding, posed for a picture, and played like his normal little self.
Today it is like it never happened. Lots of rough housing, much to my dismay, as he plays with Daddy. Giggles and fun abound. Oh and a little vacuuming with Nana.
Excuse the slightly blurry motion shots but playing with Daddy in the chair was so stinking cute I was required to capture it blurry or not.
Since our accident we have run smack into a chair and flipped over backwards on our firetruck. If you add Daddy's wipe out and gnarly bruise to our list of injuries we might just need to wrap ourselves in bubble wrap until we get home!
