He was thrilled with his train set! So much so that the word breakfast had him squealing as he wanted to play instead, for our little guy that is a big deal!
Shortly thereafter he could be found hiding under the tree cramming fistfuls of pumpkin bread into his mouth with his train in easy reach. Not a normal occurrence, but hey it is Christmas so Mommy let it slide!
He was however easily distracted by making cookies with Mommy, since that meant pure sugar could be stuffed into his sweet mouth. His face has born the abrasive sugar for days as we have done our various baking!
We cheesed it up taking our own holiday picks and had a blast! Our little day was practically perfect in every way.
On Christmas day Mommy and Aiden kept the party rocking with pj's, snuggles, and lots of playtime of course!
We read the Christmas Story...
Hung the last ornament...
Made Jesus a birthday cake...
Aiden thought it was super yummy...
So did the gummy bear!!!
All in all our Christmas was beautiful. We are so very grateful for our Savior who came to earth as a babe and gave us a reason to celebrate not just today but every day of the year!
Sounds so wonderful. :) LOVE the birthday cake & am totally stealing that idea for next year. Mama, you look fantastic! When do we find out if you're on team pink or blue?
