We ARE that crazy family...

You know the ones. Those crazy people that live down the street that randomly do things that leave you shaking your head. Yup, it is official we are THAT family.

Last night we sat daydreaming about the house, the future, baby girl, you name it. Somehow we got started talking about the nasty state of our carpet. It was the dollar stuff and installed who knows when before we moved in. Lets just say it has not stood up to an active toddler very well. It was plain downright nasty. We knew that the there was hardwood throughout but that the bedrooms looked like a paint party. SAD.

I guess we hadn't really checked the living room very well. We looked at pinterest and thought about painting them a solid color. It would be far cheaper than refinishing them or putting down new carpet.

So we took a peak, at 9pm last night.
Twelve hours later we did this...
