Yummy Summertime!!!

Today we enjoyed the tastes of Summer. We went out for pizza and failed our first attempt at a booster. Lets just say Momma's skirt has a good coating of greasy hand prints. We tried a little Mom n Pop joint around the corner and it was delish!!!!

What is better than ice cream after pizza? Aiden has recently discovered a love of ice-cream so I couldn't wait to watch him enjoy his first cone. Though technically he had one on his birthday last year he hated it and therefore it does not count. Shem was super excited, errr translate rolled his eyes, at the thought of the mess we would have upon said adventure.

Sure enough he LOVED his chocolate cone. He wasn't so keen on the dripping down his legs part but Dadda came to the rescue and ate the top off the cone to help with the problem. On afterthought it might be best to attempt in a bathtub or in the back yard with a hose. A major stain stick session is in my future. It was worth it for the sweet smile on his face as he yummed his way through his messy treat!

We certainly enjoyed our taste of Summer and it was everything I dreamed it would be!
