A Kitchen Miracle...

Recently accomplishing anything in the kitchen has, well, not been possible. Aiden has decided that if Momma is in the kitchen he should be fed, or held, depending on the time of day and approaching nap. Have you ever tried to cook, clean, or hand wash a sink full of dishes with a monkey around your ankles? How about a wailing monkey?

I am beginning to master the art of creative timing. Meal prep can be done during nap time, meals are no longer on a "schedule," and the cleaning isn't always accomplished in my desired timing.

UNTIL...



You might ask why the vacuum is in the kitchen. Originally it was in the kitchen so that Aiden couldn't play with it, because he messes up the perfectly coiled cord ;). One day he found the object of his hidden desire in the kitchen and gleefully played with it while Momma "wasn't watching." I got SO MUCH DONE! It is my new favorite kitchen tool and just might find its new permanent residence to be the kitchen!
