Hello From Hartford!!!

It has been a whirlwind few days to say the least! Thursday night found us saying goodbye (for now) to our sweet bible study group and finding ourselves on the interstate around 9 pm. Though a certain someone did not sleep much driving through the night still seemed quicker somehow. Many viewings of Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who saved us from the majority of exhausted monkeys pitiful wails. Well that and a bucket full of new toys!

Breakfast, or rather daylight, found us in a stretch with nothing but a rest stop. Our original intention was to stop for a leisurely breakfast, change drivers, and let Aiden run his little legs out. So we were thankful for a deserted rest stop as our little adventurer took to the woods, almost literally! We loaded back up and made it to Hartford in time for a late lunch.

At some point along the journey Shem looked at me and asked "Are we really doing this?" I think it took us a day or so settling in to truly believe we have in fact embarked on this unusual adventure. It has already been a true adventure as we have learned to navigate through a new town, a new home, and hopefully a new church.

There is much to be said, but for tonight I will simply wish you a good night from Hartford!
